Courses Offered


CPR & First Aid Courses
Proper CPR and First Aid at the right time can save many lives. We offer initial certification and re-certification courses for both individuals from the medical profession and otherwise. This course is designed for individuals in the healthcare field or entering the medical profession and follows the AHA 2015 guidelines. CEUs are provided.

BLS for Healthcare Providers

The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. The course is for individuals who are currently in the healthcare field or who are interested in a healthcare career.

The Class Focuses On

  • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR

  • Advanced Airway

  • AED Use

  • BVM

  • Choking

  • Rescue Breathing


Duration of course: 4-4.5 hours

Note: Continuing Education Units (CEU) may apply depending on the governing board. Please, contact us for information.

American Safety Health Institute (ASHI) CPR, AED

Also known as “lay rescuer CPR,” this course is designed for people in the fitness industry (personal trainers, gym employees, and gym owners/managers), sports league coaches, babysitters, new parents, or anyone who just wants the life saving skill of CPR. This course follows AHA 2015 CPR guidelines.
 

The Class Focuses On

  • Adult and Pediatric CPR

  • AED Use

  • Choking

  • CPR/AED Case Scenarios


Duration of course: 3-4 hours

Note: This particular CPR is not the correct type of certification for anyone who is in the healthcare field professionally. If you are in the healthcare profession, please see the BLS for Healthcare Providers course description above.

American Safety Health Institute (ASHI) CPR, AED, Basic First Aid

This course is designed for people who are school teachers, camp counselors, babysitters, construction industry, new parents, or anyone who just wants to learn life saving skills of CPR & First Aid. This follows the AHA 2015 CPR and First Aid guidelines.

The Class Focuses On

  • Adult and Pediatric CPR

  • AED Use

  • Choking

  • Common First Aid Injuries


Duration of course: 4-5 hours

Note: This particular CPR is not the correct type of certification for anyone who works in the healthcare field professionally. If you are in the healthcare profession, please see the BLS for Healthcare Providers course description above. The "First Aid" part of this course can be done without learning the CPR portion and combined with other certifications (course fees will vary if First Aid only is added), please contact us for further information.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Training

The ACLS class is an American Heart Association course. All certifications are good for 2 years. Both Initial certification and re-certification classes are available. Continuing Education Units (CEU) are provided.

ACLS is used to train medical professionals in the recognition of cardiac arrest rhythms and other life-threatening medical emergencies.

Skills That Will Be Taught in the Course Are

  • Basic and Advanced Airway Procedures

  • Cardiac Arrest Algorithms

  • EKG Rhythm Review and Recognition

  • Pharmacology Review and Use

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Training
The PALS class is an American Heart Association course that has been updated to reflect the new sciences in the 2010 American Heart guidelines. All certifications are good for 2 years. We offer initial certification and re-certification and require a minimum of 6 people for these courses. Fees are subject to increase if the minimum number of people per class is not met. Continuing Education Units (CEU) are provided.
 
PALS is used to train medical professionals with the skills and knowledge in recognizing and effectively treating critically ill infants and children.

  • BLS/CPR

  • Effective Resuscitation

  • PALS Treatment Algorithms

  • Pediatric Assessment

  • Pediatric Emergencies

  • Pharmacology Review and Use

  • Team Dynamics

State of Florida Piercing Renewal & Bloodborne Pathogen Courses
If your job duties have you handling or possibly coming into contact with blood and/or other potentially infectious material, this is the class for you. This course is designed to meet the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030. Bloodborne Pathogen certification is through the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) and is good for 1 year.

A minimum of 6 people is required for these courses. Fees are subject to increase if the minimum number of people per class is not met. Continuing Education Units (CEU) are provided.

  • Once you complete the online portion of the course, it is very important you print out the certificate of completion.


  • Now contact us, so we can schedule the required “Skills Check-Off” session and give you your certification card(s).


  • Skills Check-Offs will take place at 7410 S. US Highway 1, Suite 103A, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
